The Patination and decorative coloring of metals dates back hundreds of years. In recent times, there has been a renewed interest in the subject and the techniques used, as applications and interest from the design community have increased significantly.

Copper's natural beauty is timeless and it's versatility is truly remarkable, which makes it a prime candidate for wall tile applications and the patina process.

Starting with our classic finished pure copper tile product, the recipes and technique we currently utilize for the patina process then begins for these elements.

Once the required reaction time has elapsed in the patina process for the desired look, and the subtle iridescent qualities have emerged in the finish, a thin clear coat spray is applied to seal and maintain the finish achieved. This captured look is attained by isolating the copper and patina process from further atmospheric exposure.

Now  transformed, the richness of this copper product can truly be appreciated. The detail and refinement brings out the elegance of patina.
